Welcome to Esthetic Skin - Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber Led Clinic and Medi-Spa

At our CQC-registered clinic, we take pride in providing treatments that are exempt from Value Added Tax (VAT) when they are prescribed for medical reasons. However, please note that we must apply VAT (20%) to treatments that are primarily for cosmetic purposes. Our clinic is dedicated to delivering medical care, it is only healthcare professionals carrying out aesthetics, offering a comprehensive range of treatments and services aimed at protect, maintain and restore skin health.

As a nurse prescriber-led medical clinic, our foremost responsibility is to our patients. We ensure that all treatments are prescribed only when deemed necessary for your well-being. This process commences with a thorough consultation with a qualified medical practitioner, where we assess your medical history and obtain informed consent for any treatment or care package.

We recognise that various aspects of physical appearance, body image, and skin health can significantly influence self-esteem and overall quality of life. Many individuals seek treatments such as botulinum toxin (commonly referred to as 'Botox®') not just for aesthetic enhancements but also for legitimate medical reasons, including the management of migraines, frequent headaches, atypical facial pain, and conditions like excessive sweating, scarring, or skin disorders.

During your no-obligation consultation, we will explore your specific reasons for seeking treatment. Our extensive array of medically-based treatments and services is designed to address a variety of medical concerns within a clinical setting. Some treatments may require ongoing or long-term management, reflecting the diverse medical needs of our patients.

We want to emphasise that we are a medical clinic, not a beauty salon. Your physical and mental health is our primary mission, and we offer only safe, evidence-based treatments. If you are seeking purely cosmetic treatments, we may not be the right clinic for you.

Our focus lies in treatments that promote skin health, inner health, hair restoration and overall wellness. Each patient's journey begins with a comprehensive medical consultation, including discussions about your health, lifestyle, family history, allergies, medications, and a psychological assessment of your treatment expectations.

For health, safety, and insurance reasons, children and pets are not permitted to accompany you to appointments. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Complaints Policy
We aim to provide the highest quality service, and we take all feedback seriously. If you are dissatisfied, we handle complaints quickly, fairly, and transparently. Our complaints process ensures that:

  • Clients know how to provide feedback, and the complaint process is straightforward.
  • Staff address feedback promptly, courteously, and keep clients informed.
  • Feedback is documented to help us continually improve services.

Patch Testing and Treatment Contraindications
Please inform our team of any pre-existing medical conditions or if you are pregnant, as some treatments may not be suitable. Failing to disclose may incur charges. New clients booking hair colour, lash lifts, tints, or lash extensions must complete a patch test at least 48 hours prior to their appointment. No booking is required for this test.

Cancellations
We require 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule appointments. Late cancellations will incur a 50% charge of the treatment cost. We appreciate your understanding and will do our best to accommodate rebooking requests.
