The 3D Trilogyice laser hair removal system uses triple wavelength technology (Alexandrite, Diode and ND:Yag) to achieve maximum results when compared to a single wavelength.

These three wavelengths transfer energy downwards, reaching different depths of the dermal tissue.

3D Trilogyice employs volumetric heating of the dermal tissue, altering function of the hair. The fluence of each pulse from the laser is delivered low but rapidly to collectively heat the dermal tissue and thermally injure the hair follicle.

The melanin in the hair helps to conduct the heat, bringing the temperature of the follicle above the temperature of the dermal tissue.

The duration of each pulse from the laser handpiece is less than the thermal relaxation time of the hair follicle.

This allows the energy to build within the follicle causing irreversible heat trauma. However, the delicate skin tissue is left unaffected.

This trauma effectively impairs the function of the biological elements responsible for hair re-growth.

Pre-Treatment Advice

To achieve the best results and minimise risks, please follow these guidelines before your laser hair removal treatment:

• No Bleaching or Depilatory Creams – Avoid using bleach or hair removal creams for at least two weeks before and during your treatment course.
• Avoid Retinol & Strong Exfoliants – Do not use skincare products containing retinol, AHA fruit acids, or chemical peels before or during your treatment.
• No Waxing, Plucking, or Threading – These methods remove hair from the root, making the laser less effective. Shaving is recommended before your session.
• Avoid Sun Exposure – Do not sunbathe or use sunbeds for four weeks before and after treatment, as tanned skin increases the risk of irritation and pigmentation changes.
• Exfoliate to Prevent Ingrown Hairs – Use a gentle body or facial scrub in the week leading up to your session to help exfoliate the skin.

Aftercare Guidelines

To protect your skin and enhance your results, please follow these aftercare instructions:

• Avoid Heat Exposure – Refrain from using saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers/baths for 48 hours post-treatment.
• No Deodorants or Perfumed Products – Avoid deodorants, scented lotions, or perfumes on treated areas for at least 24 hours to prevent irritation.
• No Swimming or Intense Workouts – Avoid chlorinated pools, excessive sweating, and high-intensity exercise for 72 hours to prevent skin irritation.
• Protect Your Skin – Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily, even on cloudy days, to prevent UV damage.
